Hope Springs Community Church of the Nazarene Leadership

Hope Springs Community Church of the Nazarene is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Wayne Vaughan

Senior Pastor

Pastor Wayne was appointed to serve as Hope Springs Community Church of the Nazarene's Senior Pastor in November of 2013. Prior to that, he served as Visitation Pastor of Cross Roads Community Church of the Nazarene in Farmington, NM.

The attributes that best describe Wayne as a pastor are preaching of the Word of God that invites people to be students of Jesus, equipping the followers of Jesus to fulfill the Great Commission (make disciples) while living the Great Command (Love God and Others), and being genuine and open in his relationship with Jesus. God has placed him to lead Hope Springs Community Church of the Nazarene for a time such as this. He is glad to be in a gathering where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Wayne takes worship and preaching very seriously, while also understanding the importance of living what God is teaching.

Wayne grew up in the family auction business. After HS graduation, he spent seventeen years in financial services, transitioning to Registered Nurse where he spent another seventeen years in healthcare. He completed the requirements for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene, New Mexico District, completing the education requirements through Nazarene Bible College.

Pastor Wayne has been happily married for thirty-seven years to his wife, Paula. They have two grown children and five grandchildren that live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
